Honeymoon Getaway
Kickin'. I found a honeymoon getaway that is:
1)Remote - we can get away from all technology and people
2)Warm - Weather in the 50's to mid 80's
3)Breathtakingly beautiful - Wow.
4)Cheap - Once we get ourselves there, we're talking about $300 for the week including food.
This picture is from somebody else's vacation there. I'm keeping this a secret from Becky 'til we get there. (I've told her it's a secret and she's on her honor not to peek.)
So here's the links if you want to know more -

Steve,
The reason I know that area so well is because my ex-wife's family lives in New Smyrna Beach. I've been there more times than I can count. One thing to watch out for in that area is fire ants. Have some really good spray of some sort to take with you and make sure your tent is locked up tight. They got me good really bad one night because I was barefeet in the sand/grass and they crawled up my legs.
If you get a chance and want some fairly cheap but very tasty peel-n-eat em shrimp check out my very favorite place, JB's Fish Camp and Restaurant. It's not on the ocean but it's on the inner coastal rivers. (It's a dive btw but a lot of fun and great food, I had my first raw oyster there)

If you wanted to eat one night with a view of the ocean for cheap. There's "Breakers" which is right on the ocean right in New Smyrna Beach. 518 Flagler Avenue
That's close to Turtle Mound if you've heard of that. Another cool place to check out in that area.
If I think of anything else I will let you know.
